We didn't like that our room didn't have a coffee maker...or an iron/board. Otherwise the room was a great size and the fireplace was a nice bonus. Great views too, mountains literally right outside the window.

We booked the owners cabin and 2 rooms for the our out of town family attending my sons wedding. With a total of 10 people we thought we would need all the rooms.
The cabin was so spacious we could have put every one in that alone. The cabin was a major bargin. The full kitchen was a great.
The place was friendly, the grounds and pool inviting, and the staff more than helpful and accomodating to each of our requests. The location is perfect, we could walk to any part of town.
The only reason I do not rate them a 10 all the way is the rooms are in need of a face lift. The aging pink formica in the baths was a bit much. Paint and new carpet would move them into the excellent catagory.
Overall, the Boomerang Lodge a good value and I would recommend them to any and all.

Comfortable but very basic room. Clean but in need of serious upgrading to match what most would think of as "Aspen standards." Friendly staff and nice continental breakfasts. Afternoon tea very basic, not in keeping with the breakfasts. Location not within easy walking distance to lifts or down town.

Stayed here a couple times. Top floor rooms better than others with good space and updated baths, but pricey for being one of the furthest lodges/hotels from center of town.
Wireless not dependable and dial-up too slow.
Would prefer having something other than instand coffee in rooms. Breakfast good, but only 8am-10am so no early food or sleeping in. No on premises restaurant so no room service.
Lower lounge could be nice, but feels like dungeon without much natural light.
Would stay here again, but wish it was more of a value. They should make some improvements and not raise prices or leave things the same and lower prices slightly.

A really nice property in Aspen. Aspen as a town is really pricey, but I think the Boomerang is a decent value for the town. If you want cheap though, don't ski Aspen. The lodge is a brisk walk to downtown for apres ski and restaurants - with free shuttle service by the hotel staff when available. Studio rooms are comfortable but not huge. One complaint - the walls are pretty thin. Free continental breakfast (very good granola and fruit). Good hottub. Good service by the staff as well.

Quiet location, within easy walking distance from downtown.
A well maintained property with a true lodge feel; a pleasant alternative to hotel accomodations.
